David Spindler: Massage Therapist.
David is a holistically minded massage therapist. He has 1,650 certified hours of classroom training and over 5,000 hours of actual practice. Over the last eight years he has worked in hospital settings and with numerous doctors and physical therapists in the San Francisco Bay Area, South Lake Tahoe and here in the Santa Ynez Valley where he now practices.
David uses his skill sets to work with a broad demographic of clients ranging from non-exercisers to runners, cyclists, swimmers and weightlifters, in a process he calls “prehab” (injury prevention), as well as people who are recovering from activity related injuries. He has also worked with stroke victims, helping them regain flexibility and mobility, and people who have had joint replacements, such as hips and knees, again working to improve mobility and flexibility.
David uses both intuition and bodywork science to help heal and improve his client’s postural balance. The multiple techniques he uses are synchronistic, just like the anatomy of the human body. “Everything is connected.”
David’s strategy is to assess the client’s needs based on conversation with the client, as well as what the body itself presents. David uses his skills, and more importantly client feedback to determine a path of treatment and David is committed to helping his clients understand what they can do on their own to improve.
